There appears to be a reason why Jonathan Majors is being dropped from projects as his team abandons him… he allegedly has more alleged abuse victims in the wings.
According to Variety, the alleged victims are coming forward and cooperating with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
“Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone,” Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhry tells TMZ. We have provided the District Attorney with irrefutable evidence that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be completely cleared.”
Majors was arrested in New York City last month for misdemeanor assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and harassment after allegedly slapping his girlfriend in the back of a taxi cab, as we previously reported.
According to Variety, the alleged incident is just the tip of the iceberg… which explains why Hollywood heavyweights are shunning the “Creed III” star.
Remember, Majors’ management team dropped him after his arrest, and a major public relations firm backed out of working with him. He’s also been barred from attending the upcoming Met Gala.
According to Majors’ attorney, the alleged victim from the NYC arrest texted the actor after he was arrested and said, “She was the one who used physical force against him.”
Majors, as you may know, has been working nonstop in Hollywood recently… he’s set to be the next big villain in the MCU after starring in the recent ‘Ant-Man’ film.
However, with other alleged victims reportedly waiting in the wings… it appears the hits for Majors may continue.
