Gap and Kanye West are no longer affiliated.
The two-year relationship between the fashion brand and the fashion mogul has been terminated, according to the fashion mogul, who claims that Gap broke their agreement by delaying the release of products and the opening of Yeezy store outlets.
West’s attorney, Nicholas Gravante, said in a statement to CNN that Gap’s significant violation of its contractual commitments had been expensive. Ye will now act quickly to make up for the lost time by opening Yeezy store outlets.
In June 2020, the collaboration was declared. Ye has to create a line of clothing for the Yeezy Gap label as part of the 10-year agreement. In addition to hoodies and a collection created in collaboration with Balenciaga, they also produced a $200 bubble jacket.
Ye spoke out against Gap on Thursday’s “Closing Bell” episode of CNBC, alleging that the retailer stole his designs and undercut him on the price. In spite of the fact that it was stipulated in the contract, he added that they “ignored” his request for the construction of retail stores.
Ye stated, “I basically put everything I had, and it was incredibly difficult and upsetting. “Our agenda wasn’t in line”

The Wall Street Journal claims that Gap is still preparing to produce new Yeezy Gap products.
The Gap president and CEO, Mark Breitbard, stated in an email distributed to staff members on Thursday that “while we share a vision, how we work together to accomplish this vision is not aligned.”
Additionally, in peril is West’s 10-year contract with Adidas, which is set to expire in 2026. He claims that the German sportswear behemoth stole his Yeezy designs and breached their contract. Adidas is attempting to find a solution as the two parties have apparently been in discussions for the past week.
