Media sweetheart and digital powerhouse Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori—fondly known as KieKie—is returning as the host of the fifth edition of the Trendupp Awards, making this her fourth consecutive time steering the spotlight at Africa’s leading celebration of influencers and content creators.
With over 10 million fans across her digital platforms, KieKie isn’t just hosting—she’s setting the tone. Known for her bold style, quick wit, and undeniable charm, she’ll be guiding this year’s nominees through a night of unforgettable moments, inspiring stories, and well-deserved honors.
This year’s theme, “Still Explosive,” promises a powerful celebration of 17 standout creators chosen from a pool of 104 nominees—each recognized for their fearless creativity and impact across borders and platforms.
The ceremony is set for Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Expect a night of glitz, applause, and cultural pride as the continent’s most dynamic voices take center stage.
Can’t be there in person? The show will be broadcast live on PopCentral TV (DStv Channel 189) and streamed via Trendupp Africa’s YouTube channel.
