Manchester United’s forward, Marcus Rashford, has expressed his frustration over the ongoing criticism he’s faced this season. Last season marked one of Rashford’s peaks, as he tallied an impressive 30 goals and 10 assists in 56 appearances across all competitions.

His outstanding performance earned him the title of Manchester United’s best player for the 2022-2023 season. Notably, he was the leading scorer in both the Europa League and the EFL Cup, with six goals in each competition, contributing significantly to Manchester United’s EFL Cup victory and third-place finish in the Premier League that season.

However, the 2023-2024 season has been a stark contrast for Rashford, with a notable struggle to find the back of the net. He has only managed to score eight goals and provide five assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.

In addition to his on-field performance, Rashford has faced scrutiny for off-field incidents, including a clash with Manchester United’s coach, Erik ten Hag. One incident involved Rashford hosting a birthday party shortly after Manchester City’s victory over Manchester United, leading to a two-game benching after apologizing to the club and teammates.

Despite factors such as fitness issues and personal matters, such as his breakup with childhood sweetheart Lucia Loi in April 2023, contributing to his current form, Rashford has been subjected to relentless criticism from fans and pundits alike.

Responding to a recent post criticizing him, Rashford labeled the ongoing criticism as “absolutely disgusting” and “cruel,” emphasizing that it constitutes abuse and has persisted for months. He concluded by stating, “Enough is enough,” highlighting his frustration with the continuous scrutiny.
