All Roads Lead to Hyderabad for the Miss World Grand Finale
The countdown is on in Telangana, India, as the stage is set for the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant. The final show will take place on Saturday, May 31, at the Hyderabad International Trade Expositions Centre (HITEX), where over a hundred dazzling contestants will gather under one roof.
With 110 women representing countries and territories around the globe, this year’s competition is shaping up to be a vibrant celebration of beauty, culture, and shared purpose. The event also welcomes back several countries after a hiatus, including Albania, Armenia, Equatorial Guinea, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, North Macedonia, Suriname, and Zambia.
As the spotlight inches closer to the big night, the journey is just as exciting as the crown. A series of challenges have been lined up to test not only the contestants’ charm but also their creativity, intellect, and social impact.
What’s Happening Before the Big Night?

Talent Challenge (May 22)
Held at Shilpakala Vedika, this segment will bring out the performers in the contestants as they showcase their singing, dancing, and other artistic gifts. -
Head-to-Head Challenge (May 23)
Hosted at Hotel Trident, this round will focus on dialogue. Contestants will speak on global issues, giving them a chance to share their thoughts, opinions, and ideas with confidence and clarity. -
Top Model & Fashion Show (May 23–24)
This stylish portion will span two days and feature both modern runway showcases and traditional glamour. Designers from Telangana will also join in for a special collaborative presentation. -
Beauty with a Purpose (May 26)
One of the most meaningful parts of the pageant, this challenge allows each contestant to share the social causes they care about and the real-world change they’re working toward.
All eyes will be on Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszková as she prepares to pass on the crown to the next titleholder. But before that iconic moment, there’s still plenty to watch, learn, and admire as these women bring their voices, values, and dreams to the world stage.
