Nigerian actress and popular content creator Monalisa Stephen has sadly passed away. Her death was confirmed on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, by Seun Oloketuyi, the head of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, via a post on Instagram.
According to Oloketuyi, Monalisa died in Lagos on Tuesday, May 13, after experiencing complications related to low blood sugar and internal bleeding. Her younger sister confirmed the heartbreaking news.
Oloketuyi described Monalisa as a vibrant and hardworking woman whose presence left a mark both online and in the film world. Her passing has left fans and friends in deep sorrow.
