Megan Thee Stallion is turning up the heat in Hollywood.
According to Deadline, the Houston beauty is in talks to co-star with Adam Sandler in a new Netflix film directed by Josh and Benny Safdie.
The title and plot of the new film have yet to be revealed, but Sandler has revealed that it will take place in the world of sports memorabilia. The actor previously appeared in the 2019 film Uncut Gems by the Safdie brothers.
The production of the film is set to begin this summer. The Safdies will direct and produce based on their script.
This is Megan’s latest foray into acting. She has previously appeared in “P-Valley,” “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” and “Good Girls,” and will make her feature film debut in F*cking Identical Twins, opposite Nathan Lane, Bowen Yang, and Megan Mullally.
The latter, directed by Larry Charles (Borat), is inspired by The Parent Trap and follows two business rivals who discover they are identical twin brothers. They switch places to reunite with their divorced parents and re-establish their family.
Last night, the Grammy-winning singer threw out the first pitch at Minute Maid Park in Houston for the Houston Astros’ Opening Day game against the Chicago White Sox.
