Nollywood star Rita Daniels, mother of actress Regina Daniels, has shared an emotional post featuring her son Sammy in police custody.
Reports reveal that Sammy was taken into custody on Monday, following the growing tension surrounding Regina’s marriage to her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Regina’s brother, Sweezy, voiced his frustration on Instagram, accusing Ned Nwoko of using his influence to intimidate their family. He claimed that Sammy was denied legal representation and even basic necessities like food and water.
After his arrest, Sammy was reportedly transferred from Lagos to Abuja, where his parents met with him in hopes of securing his release.
On Thursday, Rita Daniels took to her Instagram page, posting a photo of her son along with a heartbreaking caption:
“Oh God, my heart is broken.”
Amid the family turmoil, Regina Daniels shared a more uplifting update. The actress revealed that her long-estranged parents had finally reconciled after years of tension—a moment she described as a long-awaited blessing for her family.
In her emotional Facebook post, Regina wrote that her parents’ reunion was driven solely by love and a desire for peace, not by hidden agendas.
“Two sworn enemies reuniting purely for their daughter’s happiness… and I once questioned God for placing me in this situation?” she reflected.
Through pain and healing, the Daniels family seems to be embracing both heartbreak and hope—each moment shaping their story in unexpected ways.
