According to CNN, the Ohio State Highway Patrol verified that defensive end Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns and one passenger were sent to the hospital on Monday following a rollover collision in Sharon Township.
Ray Santiago, a Sergeant with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, told the media “Non-life threatening injuries” were sustained by Garrett, 26, and the passenger.
Just before 3 p.m., after getting a report of a crash, the authorities hurried to the scene, which was situated about 40 miles south of Cleveland.
According to Santiago, Garrett and the passenger were taken to a nearby hospital where they received treatment when troopers arrived on the scene and found a gray Porsche 911 Turbo S off the right side of the road with rollover damage.
Santiago told the publication that he and the passenger were both wearing seat belts at the time of the collision and that there was no sign of alcohol or drug.
Garrett’s agent, Nicole Lynn, posted a status update on his condition following the event, stating that he “was engaged in a one-car collision.”

She said in a statement, “He has been conscious and responsive as we are waiting to hear the extent of his injuries. The Garrett family would like to express their gratitude to the medical staff who safely drove Myles and his passenger to the hospital after getting them out of the car.
According to ESPN, the mishap occurred after the athlete finished his practice at the Berea, Ohio, Browns’ training facility. He is anticipated to be discharged from the hospital Monday night. Lynn added that he did not break any bones in the outlet.
