Taylor Swift is spending time with her friends after her divorce from actor Joe Alwyn. Swift was seen out to dinner with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds this week in New York City.
Swift was seen getting into a car with Reynolds and Lively the same night she dined with the couple at Casa Cipriani in Manhattan.
On April 8, ET exclusively revealed Swift’s divorce from Alwyn. She’s been spotted out and about in New York City with friends several times since then. On April 10, she dined with longtime collaborator and friend Jack Antonoff and his fiancée, Margaret Qualley. The same night, fans speculated that she was wearing the “J” necklace that Alwyn had given her.
An eyewitness later told ET that “Taylor seemed really upbeat and happy” when she was spotted leaving Lure in SoHo on April 17.
Swift also returned to the stage less than two weeks after the announcement, performing at an Eras tour stop in Tampa, Florida on April 13. In addition to several outfit changes, she surprised the sold-out crowd with two surprise songs: “Speak Now” from her 2010 album of the same name, and “Treacherous” from 2012’s Red.
Swift and Alwyn dated for six years and were notorious for keeping their relationship private. According to ET, the split was amicable and “not dramatic.” ET also discovered that “the relationship had simply run its course.” It’s the reason [Alwyn] hasn’t been seen at any shows.”
Following the split, Alwyn traveled to Hungary to begin principal photography on The Brutalist, his upcoming film starring Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, and Guy Pearce.
