Al-Hilal forward Neymar recently shared that his doctor advised caution regarding his playtime as he embarks on another recovery journey. The 32-year-old experienced discomfort from a muscle strain just 30 minutes after stepping onto the pitch in Al-Hilal’s AFC Champions League match against Esteghlal on November 4.

Neymar limped off after sensing the pain, leading to his early substitution and marking a setback in what was meant to be a promising comeback to competitive play. This game was especially meaningful for Neymar, being only his second appearance of the season following his lengthy recovery from a major ACL injury that kept him off the field for nearly a year.

With high hopes surrounding his return, Neymar’s performance was anticipated to reflect the skill he’s shown at clubs like Barcelona. To keep fans updated, Neymar posted on Instagram, acknowledging the situation with cautious optimism.

“Hopefully nothing serious,” he wrote. “It’s normal that after being out for a year, this can happen. My doctors warned me, so I just have to be careful and gradually increase my playtime.”
