Nick Cannon is continuing his tradition for the birthday of his and Mariah Carey’s twins, Monroe and Moroccan Cannon!
The Wild ‘n Out host shared a video from Monroe and Moroccan’s day at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Sunday, after he closed it down for them and their friends.
“Happy 12th birthday to my firstborn sons, Roc and Roe!” 🎉❤️ Daddy will always love you!” The 42-year-old author wrote.
Cannon, the kids, and their birthday party all wear matching hoodies with Roc and Roe’s faces as they ride the rides and play games at the theme park.
Cannon is seen sharing special moments with the twins (nicknamed Dem Kids) as he sits next to them on rides, picks them up playfully, and dances along as they are serenaded with the birthday song.
Cannon concludes the video with the words, “Daddy loves ya’ll, happy birthday.”
On the same day, Carey took to Instagram to share a sweet message for the twins.
“To my favorite people on the planet, Happy birthday!!! Every day, I thank God for you!”Our love is Extraordinary!!!” Oh darlings, you’ll ALWAYS be my babies!!! “,” the singer wrote alongside her post on Sunday, referring to two of her biggest hits.
Carey’s photo set began with recent photos of her posing with the twins celebrating their birthdays. A series of throwback photos were also included in the post, demonstrating how much Monroe and Moroccan have grown.
Carey and Cannon, who were married until 2016, had their first child together in 2011. In addition to Roc and Roe, the rapper has Rise (5 months), Powerful (2 months), and Golden (6 months) with Brittany Bell; Beautiful (3 months), and Zion and Zillion (1 month) with Abby De La Rosa; Halo (2 months), and the late Zen with Alyssa Scott; Legendary (7 months) with Bre Tiesi; and Onyx (5 months) with LaNisha Cole.
Earlier this month, the proud father discussed his relationship with Monroe and Moroccan, as well as how it is evolving.
“This is my first time having 12-year-olds, and I have a bunch!” And we’re having real conversations,” he said on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast. “Because, you know, their lives are anything but normal.” Their mother is one of the most famous entertainers of all time, and their father is me.”
“They’re so intelligent, they’re so in tune with their own values,” he said of the twins, adding that as a result, they’ve begun to “have challenging conversations sometimes.”
“One thing they do know is that dad f**ks up,” Cannon admitted. “[They know] Dad makes mistakes.”
