The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is leading other presidential candidates in Plateau State with the most votes cast.
According to the results announced so far at the Independent National Electoral Commission Collation Centre in Jos, the Labour Party candidate won in 11 of the state’s 17 local government areas.
While the All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, won in two LGAs, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, won in only one.
At the time of publication, results from two local government areas were still pending.
