Crystal Palace has secured the services of talented attacking midfielder Matheus Franca from Flamengo in Brazil. The 19-year-old Brazilian has signed a five-year contract with the Premier League club.

While the exact transfer fee remains undisclosed, British media sources suggest that Palace will pay around £26 million ($33.14 million) for Franca.

During his time with Flamengo, Franca made over 50 appearances across various competitions, impressing with his skills and scoring nine goals. He has also represented Brazil at the Under-16 and Under-20 levels, showcasing his potential on the international stage.

Franca marks Palace’s second signing during this transfer window, following the arrival of midfielder Jefferson Lerma from Bournemouth on a free transfer.
