Pardi, Megan Thee Stallion’s boyfriend, is speaking out in public for the first time regarding Tory Lanez’s shooting trial, claiming he “wouldn’t wish this on anyone.”
As the jury started deliberating on a verdict on Thursday, Pardi posted on social media, saying, “To any woman, especially ones of color that have suffered an injustice, I feel for you.”
In his subsequent statement, he said, “When you do find the bravery to speak up.. it seems you will be ridiculed,” noting how rapidly someone may change from “victim to defendant in the eyes of the public.”
He concludes his article, “I pray for the safety of anybody who has a daughter, sister, mother, niece, or aunt. I ask for their protection. No one would get this from me.”
The prosecution made one more attempt to persuade the jury that Tory shot Megan, citing his “bruised ego” as a motive. As we previously reported, closing statements ended Thursday, sending the jury into deliberations.
Kelsey Harris was the target of the defense’s closing argument, which also called Megan a liar and implied that Tory was attempting to save the day in the moments following the shooting.
