Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate from the 2023 elections, recently visited popular Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P. This visit comes shortly after Obi met with Peter’s brothers, Jude and Paul Okoye, amid a well-publicized family dispute.
Reports indicate that the Okoye family is currently embroiled in a heated feud. Paul Okoye has accused his twin brother Jude of filing a complaint against him with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). In contrast, Peter Okoye has claimed he only filed a complaint against Jude for allegedly misappropriating funds from their business.
In an effort to mediate and resolve the conflict, Peter Obi visited the homes of the Okoye brothers.
