A student, represented by her legal team at Deji Adeyanju and Co, has issued a stern ultimatum to school authorities following repeated incidents of bullying. In a letter addressed to the school, the lawyers emphasized the severity of the situation and demanded swift action to address the issue.
The letter outlined the distressing experiences faced by the student and other parents’ concerns regarding the recurring bullying incidents at Lead British International School. Despite previous attempts to bring the matter to the school’s attention, the bullying persisted, causing emotional and physical harm to the student.

The lawyers expressed disappointment with the school’s response, citing a lack of acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation. They criticized the school’s statement, which referred to a battery case as a mere “incident between minors,” and highlighted the role of such statements in enabling unchecked bullying behavior.
In light of these concerns, the legal team demanded an immediate investigation and the imposition of severe sanctions on the identified student bullies. Failure to comply within 48 hours would result in legal action against Lead British International School, Gwarimpa, Abuja, without further notice.
The letter underscores the urgency of addressing bullying issues in schools and emphasizes the student’s right to a safe learning environment.
