Manchester United defeated Leicester in the Premier League thanks to two goals from Marcus Rashford.

Rashford is in top form and is spearheading United’s comeback, scoring in each half at Old Trafford to bring his season tally to 24 goals.

Both goals were clinical finishes, with the players latching on to passes from Bruno Fernandes and Fred before charging in on goal and slotting past Danny Ward.

Substitute Jadon Sancho finished off a good team moves to give Erik ten Hag’s side all three points, but it could have been a very different story.

Leicester had the better chances when it was goalless, but their inability to beat David de Gea proved costly.

The Spaniard made a stunning reflex save to deny Harvey Barnes from close range and another superb save to deny Kelechi Iheanacho’s diving header.

Leicester’s three-game unbeaten run ended, and their inconsistent season keeps them in 14th place in the table.
