Real Madrid CF has announced a contract extension for their basketball star, Dzanan Musa. Musa joined Real Madrid’s basketball team in 2022 from CB Breogán, having also played for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA.

In his two years with Real Madrid, the 25-year-old shooting guard/small forward has been instrumental in securing the 2023 EuroLeague Championship. His impressive debut season earned him a spot on the 2022-23 All-EuroLeague First Team.

With his initial two-year contract nearing its end, the club has decided to extend Musa’s contract for another year, keeping him with the team until 2025.

A statement from Real Madrid read: “Real Madrid C. F. and Dzanan Musa have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract, ensuring he remains with the club for the next season.

“Over the past two seasons, Dzanan Musa has helped us win five trophies: 1 European Cup, 1 Spanish League, 1 Copa del Rey, and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

“Musa has earned the admiration and love of all Madrid fans and is now preparing for his third season with Real Madrid, coming off a successful campaign that ended with three trophies and an MVP award in the Endesa League final.”
