Regina Daniels’ Brother, Sammy West, Speaks on the Value of a Good Name Amid Family Drama

Sammy West, the brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has shared a thought-provoking message on his Instagram story, hinting at deeper reflections following recent family tensions.

In his post, Sammy revisited an old saying — “A good name is better than riches” — emphasizing that he now understands its full meaning. He noted that recent experiences have taught him to value respect far more than money.

“When we used to debate in secondary school that ‘a good name is better than riches,’ it didn’t hit then. But now, I truly understand,” he wrote. “I don’t worship money — respect is a beautiful thing.”

This comes shortly after a viral video surfaced showing Regina Daniels visibly upset, claiming she could no longer endure the alleged violence in her marriage. Sammy West also publicly accused her husband, Ned Nwoko, of physically assaulting her.

In response, Nwoko denied the allegations, stating via his verified Instagram page that Regina’s reported use of drugs and alcohol has caused instability in their home. He further alleged that she recently became aggressive, attacking domestic staff and damaging property.

According to him, efforts were made to get Regina into rehabilitation — both locally and abroad — but she declined.

The situation continues to unfold as fans and the public express concern over the actress’s well-being and the family’s ongoing conflict.
