Rihanna has expressed her eagerness to team up with Nigerian female stars.

During a recent Fenty event in the United States, Rihanna, the American singer, and entrepreneur, voiced her interest in collaborating on a song with Tems and Ayra Starr.

Nigerian Grammy-nominated singer Ayra Starr attended the event as one of the guests, where she had the chance to meet Rihanna, the owner of the multi-billion dollar beauty brand.

During their interaction, Rihanna asked Ayra Starr if she had collaborated with Tems yet, to which Ayra Starr responded, “Not yet but soon.”

Without hesitation, Rihanna expressed her desire to collaborate with both Ayra Starr and Tems, even offering, “You got an extra verse for me? Call me,” to Ayra Starr.

The news of a potential collaboration between Ayra Starr, Tems, and Rihanna has sparked excitement on social media, especially considering Rihanna’s hiatus from music.

Rihanna’s last release was the 2022 track ‘Lift Me Up’ from the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ soundtrack, which was co-written by Tems.

Both Tems and Ayra Starr have announced upcoming albums in 2024. Tems revealed at her recent Coachella performance that her album was ready, teasing an unreleased track from the album that samples Seyi Sodimu’s classic single ‘Love Me Jeje.’

Fans eagerly anticipate potential collaborations between Tems and Ayra Starr in their upcoming albums, and perhaps, a surprise feature from Rihanna as well.
