Serena Williams is allegedly NOT retired and her chances of playing tennis again are “extremely good” as she makes yet another attempt at a comeback. Just a few days ago, the 23-time Grand Slam champion said it at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, and it sounds like she can’t wait to take up her racket once more.

Williams declared, “I’m not retiring.

Serena even goes on to add that there’s a potential that the public will get to watch her compete one more, but she quickly makes a joke about it. The chances are excellent, according to Willaims. “You are welcome to visit my home; there is a court there. You’re protected by me.”

Keep in mind… After 27 years of playing tennis, Williams announced in August that she was “evolving away” from the sport and that her final match would be at the U.S. Open. Of course, it ended on a bittersweet note when Williams was defeated by Ajla Tomljanovi in the third round. Ever since Serena claims it has been difficult to get used to her new life.

The other day when she woke up and walked to the court, she thought, “Oh, for the first time in my life, I’m not playing in a competition and it felt so weird.” “Like the first day of the rest of my life, it was enjoyable thus far. I’m still looking for that balance, though.”

Williams has previously made hints about coming back; in September, she specifically mentioned Tom Brady while discussing a potential return.
