In the vibrant Ghanaian music scene, a fresh breeze of new voices brings immense talent, and one artist stands out among them – Adjandeh Jerry Etornam, better known by his stage name Showboi Pesewas. Born on June 5, 1999, Jerry is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter who captivates listeners with his exuberant style, specializing in Afrobeat/Afropop, Amapiano, and Ghanaian drill music. Hailing from Kpando in the Volta region of Ghana, he has quickly made a name for himself as an independent artist.

As they say, true success comes to those determined to thrive. Showboi Pesewas embodies this spirit, refusing to rest on his singing abilities alone. He has a rich background of experiences that have shaped his journey in the music industry. Initially known as a dance artist, he formed his dance crew, Team YeYe, gaining recognition within the dancing circles before venturing into a solo career as a music artist.

Officially stepping into the music scene in 2021, Showboi Pesewas released his debut single in June as part of his extended play (EP) titled “The Other Side.” This marked the beginning of his musical journey, showcasing his talent and versatility.

Education has played a crucial role in Showboi Pesewas’ life. He pursued his tertiary education at the Ghana Institute of Journalism in Accra, while his high school education took place at Kpando Senior High in the Volta region.

When it comes to his musical influences, Showboi draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including the legendary Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Tekno, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, Usher, and KelvynBoy. These artists have shaped his style and motivated him to create his unique sound.
