Meta’s text-based application, Threads, is introducing a feature that allows users to view their liked posts through an update to the app. This feature was initially tested on the Android beta version, and now, Meta has expanded its availability to all users over the weekend.

To access their liked posts, users can navigate to Settings > Your Likes, conveniently located within the profile page. In comparison, Twitter’s (now X) liked posts can be found in a separate “Likes” tab on the user’s profile. Alongside this capability to view liked posts, Meta has introduced a new option for media upload quality. Users can now upload images and videos in higher quality by going to Settings > Account > Media quality.

Moreover, Threads has enhanced its user experience by enabling users to organize their following list based on two criteria: “Latest first” and “Earlier first.” To access the following list, users can visit their profile, tap on the followers Facepile below their bio, and then navigate to the “Following” tab.

While these updates bring added value to the app, Mark Zuckerberg hinted at forthcoming features in the next few weeks. These highly requested features include post search and a web version.

Launched recently, Threads garnered significant attention, with 100 million users signing up within the first five days. However, data from various analytics firms has indicated a decline in the app’s usage over time.
