President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced a 30-day national youth conference aimed at addressing key issues facing young people in the country. In his Independence Day speech on October 1, Tinubu emphasized the importance of empowering the youth and engaging them in building Nigeria’s future.

The President highlighted that the conference will create a space for open dialogue on challenges such as education, employment, innovation, security, and social justice. He stressed that the event will give young Nigerians a voice in shaping policies that directly impact their lives.

“We must prioritize the future we want for our children by involving them in its design. This youth conference will serve as a platform for them to actively participate in shaping our nation,” Tinubu said.

He also mentioned that the modalities and delegate selection process for the event will be made public soon, ensuring transparency and inclusiveness.

The President reassured that the outcomes of the conference will be carefully reviewed and considered by the government, as part of its commitment to building a more inclusive and united Nigeria.
