In his address marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, President Bola Tinubu acknowledged the challenges many Nigerians are currently facing. He expressed his awareness of the difficulties posed by the rising cost of living and the daily struggles to make ends meet.

The President reassured the nation that his administration is taking steps to ease the burden on citizens and create a better quality of life for everyone. He called for patience, emphasizing that the government’s efforts are beginning to yield results, promising that brighter days are on the horizon.

“Fellow Nigerians, I fully understand the hardships many of you are enduring during these tough times,” Tinubu said. “Our government is listening, and we are dedicated to finding lasting solutions to lessen the difficulties our citizens face. I ask for your continued patience, as we are already seeing encouraging signs, and there is hope ahead.”

He urged Nigerians to hold on, with a promise of better times to come.
