As Thanksgiving approaches, Travis Kelce shares his holiday plans, and it seems he won’t be enjoying turkey with Taylor Swift. In the latest episode of the New Heights podcast co-hosted by his brother, Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, the brothers disclosed their separate Thanksgiving celebrations – Travis in Missouri and Jason in Pennsylvania with his family.
Travis humorously mentions he’ll be indulging in KFC since he won’t have company, hinting at being apart from Swift during the weekend. Reports suggest Swift might spend Thanksgiving in Brazil after postponing a concert due to extreme heat.
Upon learning of Travis’s solo plans, Jason extends a warm invitation for a quick visit. “If you want to make a quick trip, you’re welcome to the house. We have plenty of food,” Jason offered.
Addressing the absence of Thanksgiving turkey, Jason reveals that the Kelce family didn’t traditionally opt for turkey during the holidays. “I know everybody says turkey, I think turkey has to kind of be there but — I’m not lying — we were always a big pork chop family growing up,” Jason shared on the podcast. “And I think pork chops taste better than turkey if I’m being honest.”
Travis amusingly adds, “I’ve never cooked a turkey in my life, ever.”
