In a recent interview, President-elect Donald Trump reaffirmed his controversial campaign promises, addressing immigration policies and international alliances.

Speaking on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Trump stated that deporting undocumented immigrants would be a priority during his presidency. When asked about the potential for mass deportations over the next four years, he responded, “You have to do it.”

Trump also reiterated his intention to challenge birthright citizenship, a principle embedded in the U.S. Constitution. He suggested that executive action might be used to end it, calling the current policy “ridiculous.”

Additionally, the President-elect expressed frustration with NATO, emphasizing that member nations must contribute their fair share financially. He did not rule out the possibility of the U.S. withdrawing from the alliance, stating, “They have to pay their bills,” and warning that he would consider leaving if allies failed to “treat us fairly.”
