Queen Naija finds herself caught up in a peculiar social media drama that involves a Twitter user, a missing submarine, and even the threat of legal action. On Wednesday, an individual on the digital platform fabricated a sensational story linking the singer to the disappeared submarine used in the Titanic expedition that took place last Sunday.
The Twitter user falsely claimed, “BREAKING: TMZ reports singer Queen Naija might have connections to the missing submarine used to explore the Titanic and has refused to cooperate with authorities.” In response, Queen Naija humorously quote-tweeted, “I’ll see you in court.”
However, she quickly clarified to her followers that it was all in good fun. “Man, if only you knew my sense of humor lol… I wasn’t upset at all, I was just joking around,” she reassured. She further explained, “I truly don’t care lol… Sometimes I say things to stir up a reaction from people.”
man.. if y’all only knew my sense of humor lol…I was not heated I was literally playing.

However, the singer is known for her hit “Set Him Up” which quickly shifted gears from playful banter to expressing genuine concern for the safety of the missing submarine’s crew. She expressed, “Seriously, I genuinely hope these individuals are located. They are real people fighting for their lives inside that submarine. It’s disheartening to see others making jokes about it. It’s incredibly cruel.”
Taking the situation to another level, the Twitter provocateur decided to resurface an old tweet from Naija’s partner, Clarence White, which involved their son. They provocatively stated, “Instead of going to court, let’s address this tweet from your baby daddy first,” sharing a screenshot of White’s playful comment regarding their son’s attributes.

Despite the situation, Queen Naija didn’t back down and decided to address the matter in the comments section of The Shade Room. She shared, “Haha, firstly… that tweet was already discussed back in 2020, honey. Secondly, this person deliberately provoked me just to bring up old tweets and pictures they had saved on their phone. This has gone beyond mere disagreement; it’s clear harassment. I’m seriously considering legal action now.”
Queen Naija has unfortunately become a frequent target of online trolls. During an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” last year, she candidly discussed the challenging dynamic she experiences with people on Twitter. “I receive so much love everywhere, except on Twitter. They simply can’t tolerate me,” she shared. “It feels like I’m constantly the subject of jokes on that platform.”
In the midst of this, the OceanGate Titan submersible, carrying five explorers on their way to the Titanic wreck, remains unaccounted for. Providing an update on June 22, the U.S. Coast Guard reported that a remotely operated vehicle discovered a “debris field” believed to be associated with the missing vessel.
Among the passengers aboard the missing submersible are aviator and billionaire Hamish Harding, members of Pakistan’s affluent Dawood family, Shahzada and Suleman Dawood, former French navy officer Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush. Recently, Cardi B engaged in a back-and-forth with Harding’s stepson, Brian Szasz, over his attendance at a Blink-182 concert while the tragic incident is ongoing.
As the rescue efforts persist and the world anxiously follows the updates, the collective hope remains steadfast in finding the missing passengers and bringing them back home safely.
