Kevin Spacey, renowned Hollywood actor, has refuted fresh allegations of inappropriate conduct with men, preceding the upcoming release of a UK television documentary highlighting their claims.

In an interview with UK journalist Dan Wootton shared on social media, the two-time Oscar winner, aged 64, expressed his readiness to break his silence.

The two-part documentary titled “Spacey Unmasked” is slated to air in the UK next week, featuring accusations from 10 men unrelated to the UK court case involving Spacey, alleging instances of misconduct spanning from 1976 to 2013.

One of the accusers, former actor Ruari Cannon, detailed his allegations in Britain’s i newspaper, claiming Spacey behaved inappropriately towards him in 2013 at the age of 21.

However, in the interview with Wootton, Spacey denied any illegal behavior, taking full responsibility for his past actions but refusing to apologize for fabricated or exaggerated claims.

He clarified, “I’ve never made career advancements contingent on sexual favors. Any encounters were initiated by them with misguided hopes.”

Wootton, who previously worked for TV channel GB News, shared the interview online. Spacey’s career has been overshadowed by allegations of sexual misconduct since 2017, which he has consistently denied.

Despite being acquitted by a UK jury last year and a New York court dismissing a civil lawsuit against him, Spacey disclosed his struggle to find work post the legal battles, likening it to a “life sentence.”
