Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), expressed concern over the increasing Naira to Dollar exchange rate, urging Nigerians to seek divine intervention as many are facing hardships.
During the February Thanksgiving Service themed: ‘Let The Wind Blow’, held at the Throne of Grace Parish, RCCG Headquarters, in Ebute Meta, Lagos on Sunday, February 4, Pastor Adeboye shared his thoughts.
He reflected on the prediction made at the beginning of the year that things would worsen before improving. Comparing the value of the Naira to the Dollar from January 1 to the present, Pastor Adeboye remarked on the accuracy of the forecast.
Encouraging fervent prayer, he emphasized the uncertainty of how bad things could become before improving and urged Nigerians to cry out to God for mercy and swift intervention.
Pastor Adeboye highlighted the disconnect between leaders insulated from the everyday struggles of the common people. He underscored the necessity for ordinary citizens to voice their concerns about rising prices and economic challenges.
Acknowledging his role as a Pastor rather than a Prophet, Pastor Adeboye reiterated the earlier divine message about the wind blowing, indicating a force beyond human control.
