English side settled for a 1-1 away draw against a Belgian club last week
West Ham United will look for a home win against Gent in the second leg of the UEFA Conference League quarterfinals on Thursday.
Last week’s first leg between West Ham and Gent ended in a 1-1 tie at KAA Gent Stadium. The rematch will begin at 1900GMT at London Stadium, with Slovenian referee Rade Obrenovic in charge.
In another first-leg result, Fiorentina defeated Lech Poznan 4-1, while Anderlecht defeated AZ Alkmaar 2-0. Basel was also held to a 2-2 draw by Nice in last week’s games.
