Despite the fact that they are now beltless, Deontay Wilder has stated that a match with Anthony Joshua, his heavyweight opponent, is still a possibility.

After Joshua won the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts, his camp negotiated with the previous WBC champion for six months, but they were never able to reach an uncontested agreement.

Before Wilder lost two breathtaking fights with Tyson Fury, the 32-year-old was eventually defeated by Andy Ruiz Jr.

As both teams accuse the other of blocking the massive money agreement that should have transpired in 2018, the antagonism between the two strong punchers hasn’t changed.

The British-Nigerian allegedly declined to face Wilder for about £40 million ($50 million) at the time.

The 36-year-old said to The Good Fight, “Me and Joshua should have fought years ago, I could have been the indisputable champion.”

The opportunity is still there because we are both still in the business of fighting for it.

People continue to stop me and inquire about my battle with Joshua. Some individuals continue to believe that our conflict with one another is the biggest in the world.

“People continue to ask me about the No. 1 match-up.” It doesn’t matter “if” there will be a fight. It merely depends on when; we need precise timing.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, has consistently maintained that Team Wilder’s offer for a fight in America is false.

The Joshua battle will be shown again, according to the Bronze Bomber, but this time, they won’t fall for Hearn’s ruses.

Wilder declared, “We won’t follow Eddie Hearn’s games. They exhausted us. For almost six months, we dealt with Eddie Hearn, and they simply gave us the runaround.

“They have their version of events, which they share with everyone, but I am aware of the truth, and he is a master manipulator,”
