According to Le Parisien, Zinédine Zidane has turned down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain to take over as the coach at the Parc des Princes, replacing Christophe Galtier.
Although Galtier’s departure has not been officially confirmed by PSG, it is widely reported that Luís Campos, the Sporting Advisor, has already informed him that he is no longer the manager of Les Parisiens. Galtier, who joined the club just this summer, previously managed OGC Nice.

Sources revealed to Get French Football News in May that Zidane was PSG’s top choice, as he was last year before Galtier’s appointment. Despite offering a proposal that would have made him one of the highest-paid coaches in football, PSG did not receive positive responses from Zidane.
Le Parisien now states that PSG approached Zidane in recent weeks, but he declined their offer. As a result, the club has turned its attention to alternative candidates, including Julian Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique, and Xabi Alonso, all of whom are on PSG’s shortlist.
