West Ham United, a Premier League club, is on the verge of finalizing an agreement to acquire Mohammed Kudus from Ajax Amsterdam. In a promising turn of events, David Moyes’ team seems to have secured the coveted signature of the Ghanaian player, committing to a comprehensive package exceeding €40 million. As per reports from The Athletic, West Ham has consented to a base payment of €41 million, complemented by an additional €3 million for potential extras. Moreover, a notable 10% sell-on clause has been included as part of the agreement.

“West Ham United are on the verge of agreeing a deal with Ajax to sign attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus,” The Athletic said.

“The Premier League club have submitted an official offer worth €41m plus €3m in add-ons (£35m + £2.56m) in a deal that would include a 10% sell-on clause.

“The proposal is expected to be accepted by their Eredivisie counterparts. Personal terms are in place for the 23-year-old to sign a five-year deal with the option of a sixth.”

Kudus has been making headlines lately, with Premier League teams Brighton and Arsenal expressing interest in signing him.

In addition to this, the talented former Nordsjaelland playmaker has recently been linked to Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea. Despite all the transfer talk surrounding him, Kudus showcased his skills on the field by starting and even scoring in Ajax’s 4-1 victory over Heracles Almelo in their first Eredivisie match of the season.
