Alex Iwobi has revealed that Fulham has put a stop to behind-the-scenes content from the dressing room, especially on platforms like Snapchat.
In a video shared on his Snapchat, the Nigerian international explained that the club’s media team had stepped in, putting an end to his usual clips from inside the changing room. According to him, the decision came after concerns were raised about the nature of the content he was posting.
“There’s someone on the media team who says I’m not snapping the ‘right’ stuff. So yeah, no more BTS,” Iwobi said.
He went on to mention that players have been cautioned about possible fines if they go against the new rule. “Apparently, I could get fined if I keep doing it. They’re basically trying to cut off Snapchat in the dressing room,” he added.
Known for giving fans a laid-back, entertaining look at life behind the scenes, Iwobi expressed his disappointment but made it clear he’d respect the directive. “I know you guys enjoy seeing what goes on with the team, but I’ve got to stick to the rules,” he said.
Iwobi’s clips often featured fun locker room moments, match-day energy, and team banter—content fans rarely get to see. Fulham’s move mirrors a broader shift among clubs looking to keep certain moments private—possibly to protect tactical information or avoid public misinterpretation.
While fans may miss those candid glimpses, the message is clear: some things are meant to stay in the dressing room.
