Cristiano Ronaldo is staying put at Al Nassr, officially shutting down rumors about a potential exit as his previous contract neared its end.

The 40-year-old forward, who joined the Saudi side in early 2023 after leaving Manchester United, was set to become a free agent on June 30. But plans have changed—Ronaldo is now preparing to sign a fresh deal that could see him wear the Al Nassr jersey until 2027.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano shared the update, revealing that the final paperwork is being reviewed. The new agreement is reportedly being discussed as either a one- or two-year extension, with an option to stretch it through June 2027—if Ronaldo gives the green light.

Despite interest from both European clubs and other teams within the Saudi Pro League, the legendary striker appears ready to continue his journey with Al Nassr, a major win for the league.

Meanwhile, back in the Premier League, Arsenal are shaking up their midfield plans. With Thomas Partey set to leave the club at the end of his contract this summer, the Gunners have already begun exploring replacements.

Romano confirmed Partey’s departure and added that Arsenal are now in active talks with Brentford captain Christian Nørgaard as a potential addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad.

At 31, Partey has drawn interest from top-tier European clubs, including Juventus, Barcelona, and his former side Atletico Madrid—making his next move one to watch.
