Kylian Mbappé is standing firmly behind his longtime friend and teammate Paul Pogba, who’s gearing up for a long-awaited return to football with AS Monaco.

After being handed a four-year doping ban in 2023—later reduced to 18 months—Pogba is finally set to rejoin the professional scene. Now 32, the World Cup-winning midfielder has reached an agreement with Monaco and is expected to complete his medical in the coming days.

Mbappé didn’t hold back his excitement. Taking to Instagram, the Real Madrid star kept it simple but heartfelt, posting: “Pogback. Daghe Munegu” — Monégasque for “Let’s go, Monaco.”

For Pogba, this move isn’t just about playing again—it’s a shot at redemption and possibly one last dance with the French national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Now all eyes are on Monaco, where Pogba will be aiming to make an impact in both Ligue 1 and on the European stage.
