Tuesday afternoon’s direct examination of Megan Thee Stallion was even more emotional than her morning testimony, as she discussed the effect this case has had on her, including the idea that she wishes she had died years ago rather than having to deal with this now.

MTS shed several tears throughout the second half and expressed her difficulty with having to sit next to Tory Lanez, whom she once more insisted was the one who shot her. Megan made it clear that Kelsey Nicole was not the person holding the pistol; instead, she observed Tory holding it.

As terrifying as the actual ordeal was, Megan claims that the aftermath has been perhaps even more challenging. She notes that since she spoke out against Tory, guys in the male-dominated rap industry are more likely to side with her than with them and that this could lead to slut-shaming and misogynoir against her.

Meg added, “If I had known I would have to go through this, I wish he would have just murdered me.” Megan is going to go through cross-examination in court, where Tory’s defense team will get the opportunity to question her about her previous testimony.

Megan Thee Stallion has testified, delivering a tearful account to the jury. Meg said, “I can’t believe I have to come up here and do this” at one point and then claimed that Kelsey Nicole and Tory Lanez started fighting in the car, which led her to leave the ride.

Meg claims that as she began to move, Tory said, “Dance bitch,” and that she then saw him with the gun pointed at her before being shot. Meg claims that at that point, she began to experience shock.

She asserts Tory said that he was already on probation before telling her, “Don’t say anything and I’ll pay you a million dollars.” She claims to have thought about the fact that he appeared more anxious about maybe going to jail than really shooting her.

Meg said that she never saw Kelsey with the gun. Megan attributed the lack of support from the rap scene to the fact that it is still predominantly a boy’s club.

After the lunch break, the trial is scheduled to resume with Megan taking the witness stand once more.

Even though his son had nothing to do with the case, Tory also showed up. Tory was in full-on dad mode as he dressed his son in front of the cameras before they entered.

Megan Thee Stallion is testifying in Tory Lanez’s shooting trial on the second day while receiving support from her supporters outside the courthouse.

When Megan was asked how she was doing when she entered a DTLA courthouse on Tuesday, she gave a thumbs up. When asked if she is anxious about the trial, the rapper shakes her head in response.

Meg had some supporters as well, with a number of them waving banners and slogans while others wore shirts that read, “We stand with Megan.”

However, not everyone is on Megan’s side; as she entered the courtroom, someone yelled, “Why are you lying on that boy?” Meg and the others did not respond, though.

As we previously said, Tory’s trial began on Monday, and both sides presented their versions of events surrounding the accused shooting of Meg in the foot. Attorneys for Tory have presented competing explanations, including the possibility that Kelsey and Meg fought that evening, in contrast to the prosecution’s unequivocal assertion that Tory fired the trigger.

It has been rumored that Megan will testify during the trial, but it is unknown when she will do so.
