Nigerian music star Oluwatosin Ajibade, widely known as Mr Eazi, has shared the heartbreaking news of his mother’s passing.

Taking to Instagram on March 6, the singer posted a touching tribute alongside a photo of himself with his late mother, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.

In his emotional message, Mr Eazi expressed gratitude for the invaluable lessons she imparted, including confidence, entrepreneurship, forgiveness, and the significance of family.

“Thank you, Mummy, for your strength, sacrifices, and unwavering faith. For raising us with love, discipline, and devotion to God. For teaching me confidence, entrepreneurship, forgiveness, and family.

“You were my greatest protector, my toughest critic, and truest fan.

“You were not perfect, but you were perfect to me. Your legacy lives on. Rest well, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.”

In another sad development, Carl Dean, the husband of legendary country music icon Dolly Parton, has passed away at the age of 82.

Reflecting on their final moments together, Parton shared an emotional message on 𝕏, saying, “Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years.

“I was surprised and delighted that while he talked to me, he looked at my face (a rare thing for me). He seemed to be genuinely interested in finding out who I was and what I was about.”
