Mohammed Kudus’ latest goal celebration is gaining popularity, as Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Stephy Mavididi showcased it during Leicester City’s triumph over Birmingham City. The Foxes secured a hard-fought 2-3 victory on Monday evening, placing them three points ahead at the summit of the Championship table. Issahaku emerged as one of Leicester City’s standout performers, contributing two pivotal assists that played a key role in securing the three points.

In a standout moment, the Ghanaian teenager orchestrated a brilliant counter-attacking move, setting up Mavididi for the opening goal in the 10th minute for the Foxes.

Adding a touch of flair to the celebration, the duo replicated Kudus’ well-known goal celebration by dashing to the advertising hoardings and taking a seat.

Since making the move to Leicester City on loan from Sporting Lisbon last summer, Issahaku has been relishing life in England. The Ghana international has not only secured a spot in the Foxes’ starting lineup but has also contributed significantly, being involved in two goals and providing five assists in the Championship.

On another note, Kudus recently shared insights into his latest goal celebration, which has become a talking point among fans.

The West Ham United star clarified that, contrary to popular belief, his goal celebration doesn’t carry any profound meaning. In response to the curiosity surrounding it, Kudus mentioned that it’s simply a moment to catch his breath.

As he explained to Guvna B, “When you reach this stage and do things, people tend to interpret deeper meanings. But this doesn’t signify anything. I’m just taking a deep breath; it holds no significance for me. I just sit down to catch my breath.”
