Yung Miami dropped her latest single, “CFWM,” on streaming platforms today, April 10. Featuring Skilla Baby, this track marks her second solo release of 2024. While fans are showing love for the song, there’s some controversy brewing.

Emerging rapper DajshaDoll took to Instagram, accusing Yung Miami of stealing her song lyrics. In a fiery caption, she challenged Miami to face her in person, claiming Miami’s career is on the decline because she can’t come up with original content. DajshaDoll went on to suggest that Miami is merely a fan of hers, insinuating that Miami lifted her lines for “CFWM” from DajshaDoll’s own track, “R.I.P PIMP C,” released in 2022.

In a comparison video shared by DajshaDoll, she juxtaposed Miami’s “CFWM” with her own “R.I.P PIMP C,” both featuring the line, “I’ll go live right now without a f**king filter.” The similarities between the two tracks are hard to ignore, sparking debate among fans and industry insiders alike.

In response to The Neighborhood Talk’s repost, Miami addressed the controversy, stating, “I’ve always been rooted in the hood, it’s where I come from. I’ve never relied on fillers or filters to look good. Honestly, I hadn’t even heard of you or your song until now, and there could’ve been a better way to handle this situation. If you’re inspiring others, that should motivate you to rise above and not resort to conflict. Wishing you blessings, and let me enjoy my release day in peace, sigh!”

Supporters seemed to side with Miami, with one commenting, “Honestly, the line wasn’t even that memorable for her to get upset.” Another chimed in, “Seems like everyone just wants to jump on the Miami hate bandwagon, and it’s getting old.”

Interestingly, the build-up to “CFWM” was somewhat overshadowed by Miami’s disagreement with JT. Miami accused her City Girls partner of throwing subtle jabs in tracks like “Sideways” and “No Bars.” This led to a public exchange of words before the two reconciled.
