President Akufo-Addo has decided to extend the tenure of Auditor-General Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu by another two years. This announcement, made in a notice from the Audit Service dated July 19, highlights that Mr. Asiedu, initially set to retire on August 1, 2024, will continue his service.
The Audit Service expressed its congratulations, stating, “We are pleased to inform all staff that the President of the Republic of Ghana has extended the tenure of our Auditor-General, Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, for an additional two years. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to him on this appointment extension.”
In a notice dated July 19, the Audit Service announced an extension for Auditor General Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, originally set to retire on August 1, 2024.
The notice conveyed the congratulations from the Audit Service on his extended appointment.
“I am pleased to inform all staff that the President of the Republic of Ghana has extended the tenure of Auditor General Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu for an additional two years,” the notice stated.
“Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu was scheduled for statutory retirement on August 1, 2024. We extend our congratulations to him on this appointment extension. Thank you,” it concluded.
