Who would have guessed Offset wasn’t biologically related to Quavo and Takeoff all along? The news broke today (May 24) after the North Atlanta rapper had a lengthy conversation with Variety in his California home on Easter Sunday evening. The set was classmates with Quavo and began hanging out with him and Takeoff when he was in sixth grade, according to the interview. Fans all over the world are in awe, particularly on Twitter. “So when Offset would say ‘Momma,’ and Takeoff would hit that ‘Momma,’ they weren’t true?” one user wondered.

Earlier in the conversation, Offset discussed Take’s death and why he hasn’t spoken publicly about it. “It’s hard for me to talk about s**t right now,” he admitted. “I’ve never discussed this before. Seriously. “Talking about Take is difficult, man,” he went on. “It’s difficult to talk about all of this s**t. To be honest, that’s why I don’t. That stuff hurts. It’s going to put me in a bad mood, and I don’t want to be in a bad mood. Some things I never tell anyone. He isn’t here. That s**t feels phony, bro.” I go through my day convinced it’s all a ruse. And I don’t say anything about it to anyone.”
The 31-year-old is preparing to release his new album, It’s My Time, and it’s safe to say he’ll have a memorable LP on his hands. It will be his first solo release since the 2019 album Father Of Four. “Offset has created a phenomenal album; we can’t wait for the world to hear his masterpiece,” a Capitol representative said. “We’re deep into release planning right now and will soon have big news to share!”
