Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo recently shared her frustration and heartbreak after her shop was broken into and robbed. In a video on her Instagram page, Uche recounted the incident, explaining that thieves entered through the roof of her store on Sunday, stealing valuable items, especially men’s clothing.
This latest burglary, she said, is part of a series of financial hits her business has faced this year, with losses now nearing N50 million. Visibly distraught, Uche expressed her fatigue and discouragement over the repeated setbacks.
“They broke in through here, this is my shop,” she said in the video, showing the damage. “They used my seat to get out. All my men’s items, the expensive things I sell—they’re gone. Everything’s gone.”
Emotionally drained, she added, “The world is just too wicked. How do you keep going when it feels like you’re drowning? I’m tired.”
