Eight of the Queen’s grandchildren have joined a vigil by the casket of the monarch in Westminster Hall. Twice in the past week, their parents held vigils.
Prior to the state funeral on Monday, their late grandma is laying in state.
William and Harry, princes, were dressed in uniform. The remainder, including the Viscount Severn and Lady Louise Windsor, the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Zara Tindall, and Peter Phillips, all wore black.
The annual Vigil of the Princes will be performed for the first time in history by a monarch’s grandchildren.
