Tory Lanez did not buy her off, according to Megan Thee Stallion’s former best friend.
Kelsey For her second day of testimony in Tory’s trial for allegedly shooting the “Savage” rapper, Nicole Harris took the witness stand once more on Thursday. According to TMZ, Kelsey once more admitted to prosecutors that she has trouble recalling specifics from the night of the incident.
Tory’s lawyer questioned Kelsey in cross-examination, asking if Tory had given her money in exchange for her allegiance. “No. I want to be absolutely clear. I didn’t get paid by Tory,” she claimed.

She was also challenged by the prosecution if she recalled mentioning in a September interview that Tory tried to buy her off. She cited her anxiousness, being a new mother, and death in the family when she added, “I don’t recall what I said in September.”
The DA questioned, “When you spoke with us in September, you weren’t being honest, were you?” Yes, there are some things, Harris answered.
Ta: "In Sept, when you spoke w/us, you gave us a lot of detailed statements about what happened, right?"
Harris: "Yes"
Ta: "What happened between Sept & today that you forgot everything?"

Megan testified earlier this week that Tory had made a $1 million deal to Kelsey and her to stay silent about the shooting.
“He is pleading with them not to speak. You all get a million dollars from me. I cannot be imprisoned. She confessed to the jury, “I already been caught with a pistol before.
Additionally, Kelsey couldn’t recall seeing Megan hobbling after shots were fired or telling prosecutors in September that Tory fired the gun. Tory and the SUV’s driver are now potential suspects because she did, however, testify under oath that she did not fire the pistol.
The DA questioned, “Did you fire the weapon at Megan?” “No,” Kelsey retorted. Kelsey responded, “I don’t know,” when asked who shot Megan.

After Lanez’s defense questioned whether Kelsey had been coerced into testifying by the prosecution at the introduction of the interview, the court ultimately permitted the prosecution to play an 80-minute recording of the September interview. It will be heard by the jury tomorrow.
Dr. Lee Haruno, the surgeon who performed Megan’s surgery, presented the jury X-rays of four metallic bullet fragments that were lodged in Megan’s feet on Thursday during the trial. On the evening of the incident, she underwent immediate surgery to have them removed.
