Award-winning Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, posted a message on social media asking for gifts from his devoted followers this holiday season. The three-time Grammy Award winner Davido announced this in a post on his official Instagram page’s insta-stories section today, October 26, 2022.
Remember in November 2021, Davido requested his friends to give him at least N1 million apiece since he had made them happy with great songs over the previous 10 years and was still going strong. What began as a joke developed into a money-making machine.
For his 29th birthday, Davido was able to gather N250M thanks to friends and supporters, who then donated it to 292 orphanages across the nation. However, Davido, who will be 30 on November 21st, stated in his most recent post that this year will be different since he wants his own unique gifts from his followers.
