Mohammed Polo, a renowned figure in Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak history, has commended the leadership of Kurt Okraku as outstanding.
He praised the Ghana Football Association (GFA) under Mr. Okraku for achieving remarkable progress unseen in the country.
Polo expressed his admiration for the GFA while discussing Dreams FC’s impressive journey in the CAF Confederation Cup, highlighting that their advancement to the semi-finals reflects positively on the GFA’s leadership.
As Dreams FC prepares to face Zamalek in the second leg of the semi-final tie on Sunday, Polo took the opportunity to applaud head coach Karim Zito.
The former Hearts of Oak coach praised Zito’s remarkable efforts and acknowledged the GFA for their significant support.
“I think he has done tremendously well because the expectation brought tension on the FA,” Polo remarked.
“I have already mentioned that this GFA is the best FA I have ever seen. I have been in the system and been with the FA. I have seen different GFAs, but this is one of them that has made a profound impact on our football.”
Dreams FC’s match against Zamalek is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, with kickoff at 4 pm local time.
