The man who is said to have stolen a knife from a Carrefour shelf in a shopping center near Milan on Thursday and gone on the rampage was thought to have been Mari, his wife, and their son. Mari was shopping with them. An attack on six people resulted in the unfortunate death of one.
Mari suffered a sliced back and was one of those harmed. The defender was airlifted to the hospital where he was found to be safe and conscious. The 29-year-old underwent surgery on Friday to mend two muscles. He is anticipated to miss two months of action.
CEO Adriano Galliani of Monza and coach Raffaele Palladino made an emergency visit to the hospital following the event. After his visit, Galliani said and recited what Mari had said: “I was fortunate because I witnessed a person die in front of me.
“I had the baby in the cart with me. My back was in agonizing pain. Then, there in front of me, I witnessed this dude’s knife, someone, in the throat. I’m good, and I’ll play on Monday.
The severity of Mari’s injuries, though, was made public by loan club Monza on Friday. “The surgery to rebuild the two injured muscles on Pablo Mar’s body was performed this morning by the general surgery-trauma team of the Niguarda Hospital in Milan,” it said.
“The surgery went well, and a two- or three-day hospital stay is anticipated. The player will be able to begin the rehabilitation process after resigning. Before you may resume physical activity after this kind of muscle injury, two months of rest are typically required.
Shortly after the startling news broke, Arsenal issued a club statement. It said: “We are all horrified to hear the terrible news about the stabbing in Italy, which has left a number of people in hospitals including our on-loan center-back Pablo Mari. The club lost to PSV 2-0.
“We have spoken to Pablo’s agent, who has informed us that the actor is hospitalized but not gravely harmed. Pablo and the other victims of this terrible incident are in our thoughts.”
